In the coming months, Google is set to launch a new important element that will impact rankings— Page Experience. This algorithm update will include all aspects of user interaction with a web page. The focus is on loading, interactivity, and visual stability. Google will also introduce a visual indicator to favor search results that meet all of their page experience guidelines. They are yet to set the parameters and indicators but they reassured that “Great page experience doesn’t override having great page content.” What does this mean for the future of your company? It’s best to collaborate with experienced webmasters before these changes take effect. We are now in the works of understanding the metrics of Page Experience and mapping out the new ranking signals we need to optimize for.
